IAESTE
The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) is a global non-governmental, non-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing technical education through international exchange programmes founded in 1948.
IAESTE serves 20 000 students, 3000 employers and 1000 academic institutions through career-focused international placement programmes, social and intercultural events, international networking and other career and employer branding activities in more than 100 countries worldwide.
Through its extensive network, IAESTE provides students with paid work placement opportunities while offering companies access to skilled international talent, promoting innovation, cultural exchange, and career growth on an international scale.
IASTE is primarily STEM placement focused.
IAESTE UK
IAESTE UK is a member of the IAESTE A.s.b.l international exchange organisation and was one of its 11 founder countries in 1948.
In 2023, IAESTE UK was re-established and continues to provide international placement opportunities for international students while also supporting UK students in gaining international experience in partner countries. The team behind IAESTE UK has a wealth of experience from their sister company, ESPAUK Ltd, which has been offering global internship opportunities for students since 2012.
